Objective
To discover if smell has a significant impact on flavor tasting capabilities.
Procedure
- Pour 25ml of test fluid into a cup
- Repeat for all flavors
- Blindfold subject
- Have subject drink each
- Record the flavors experienced
- Plug subjects nose
- Mix order of drinks in which the drinks are given to subject
- Have subject drink all
- Record the flavors experienced
- Compare results

Conclusions
Smell has a significant impact on the ability to taste. Based on our results, most of the subjects had a difference in their ability to taste without their nose.
